www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCCuEGjDnr8take a look at a pretty East German girl ;D playing with traffic; starts at 02.00 minutes, this is the lass who made 'Ein Himmelblauer Trabant' in 71. There a really neat Moskvitch (I think) about 2.35 coming towards the camera and quite a nice variety of Trabants of various flavours and Wartburg 311/2 types, and the Genossen of the Volkspolizei are doing a grand job of preventing totty from getting mashed into the tarmac by an NVA truck.... This clip dates from 1967 and is not unlike western music from the period. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSfLMKqskxAThis clip was taken in East Berlin in 1990 and has a nice mixture of Trabant, Wartburgs, Ladas and so on in their natural Habitat, together with BVB Trams. Super period piece of vehicles that probably no longer exist in a country that no longer exists (sniff) Light up a Juwel, open a jar of Spreewaldgurkel, and enjoy. Or expect a knock on the door about 5am from Horst and Erich..... Regards Stasi Officer aka Con L
