Just spotted this on ebay. These are rare as hens teeth, a genuine 130 Sport conversion, where power was upped from 58BHP to around 75BHP. Top speed went up from 93MPH standard to over 100MPH, and about 4 - 5 seconds was shaved of the 0-60MPH time, down to around 10-11 seconds. I don't know of any other genuine Estelle Sports about anymore, so this one is a real find.Chap who's selling is a real Skoda nut too, and knows his stuff. Also he's a member of the owners club so whoever buys it will be getting a great car. If only I was well enough to drive..........

WOW, It's topped £1000 already!!! Imagine what it would fetch if it was a minter. These are rarer than Rapid Sports, and a lot of the Rapid Sports left have been butchered. Its good to see one in unmolested condition and it's great to see these cars now fetching a decent price. I hope its staying in the UK, as a lot of our Rapid Coupe's and Cabriolets are now being taken back to Czech republic

Fingers crossed the new owner will post on one of the forums and let us know about the car! My bet is that someone is now wearing a smile so wide the corners of their mouth touch at the back of their head!! Whoever you are ...good show for buying it and enjoy!! ;D

I must admit though, much as I love rear engined Skodas, if I was spending that money on a Skoda, it'd be an early Fabia or Octavia. To a very small minority, the car was worth that, but only 2 bidders were serious about the car out of all of them.I'd rather spend money on a cheaper rear engined Skoda that needed work doing and see the fruits of my labour when its all finished. (And see what profit I could get for it off ebay ;D)
